Christa South, Dance SPA Owner

Christa South is an accomplished Dancer, Singer and Performer. The world of Rhythm stole her heart at a very early age and that heartbeat has only grown stronger every year.

Christa studied dance at Western Michigan University where she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Christa is a DVIDA certified Latin and Ballroom Dance instructor and has trained and competed with many award winning students.  Some of her favorite performances include “3 Epitaphs” with the Paul Taylor Dance Company at The Kennedy Center, Gus Gioradno’s “Sing”, and “Dance Chicago.” Along the way she has continued teaching and choreographing dance shows, musical theatre, and dance recitals.

Recently Christa has been seen heading up one of the most recent fitness trends, Zumba®. She is not only a Zumba® class fanatic but her classes will inspire you to be a fanatic too! Believing that practice makes perfect, Christa continues to study with dance specialists to stay on top of the dance craze and keep up with the hottest dance moves and trends. If you haven’t had a chance to see Christa dance in such performances as the highly respected Chicago Salsa Congress then you must come in to meet her in person. She is highly energetic, positive, and a delight to talk to.
