Class Descriptions

Youth Beginning Recreational Cheerleading Class – The emphasis of the class is learning techniques through fun movement training. This class is for the younger athlete. It focuses on beginning strength and flexibility training. Basic arm motion and jump technique are introduced to assimilate to group synchronization, props and accessories and formation changes.  Quarterly recital to showcase those skills learned.

 

Junior Beginning Recreational Cheerleading Class – The emphasis of the class is learning techniques through fun movement training. This class is for the younger athlete. It focuses on beginning strength and flexibility training. Basic arm motion and jump technique are introduced to assimilate to group synchronization, props and accessories and formation changes.  Quarterly recital to showcase those skills learned.

 

Senior Beginning Recreational Cheerleading Class – The emphasis of the class is learning techniques through movement and fitness training. This class is for the older athlete. It focuses on strength and flexibility training. Arm motion and jump technique are utilized to assimilate to group synchronization, props and accessories and formation changes.  Quarterly recital to showcase those skills learned.

 

Mini Recreational Cheerleading Class – The emphasis of the class is learning techniques through fun movement training. This class is for an athlete who wants to focus on beginning strength and flexibility training, basic arm motion and jump technique, group synchronization, props and accessories and formation changes.  This class may involve a quarterly recital to showcase those skills learned.

 

Youth Advanced Recreational Class – The emphasis of the class is learning techniques through fun movement training. This class is for the younger athlete who has mastered basic cheerleading and pom-pom techniques. It focuses on continuing strength and flexibility training, arm motion and jump technique. Acro-cheer and cheer-nastics techniques are introduced to assimilate to group synchronization.  Quarterly recital to showcase those skills learned.
